A classic riding suit design from the 1890's. A two piece set that allowed the wearer to have individual pant legs for a functional way to ride a horse, but has a convertible front panel to cover the pant legs and appear as a skirt. Also referred to as a split skirt, it provided function and fashion. Jacket is double breasted with a built in waist belt. Puff shoulder with tucked pleats. A single button is missing on the bottom right of the skirt. No manufacturer label.
